Collectable Fine Art Portraits
What we remember of past friends and loves, of momentous occasions, is recorded
in drawings and paintings.
These pieces grow in value over the years and become heirlooms and investments.
A portrait for yourself or those
you care for is a unique gift and a treasure forever.
Portraits of your children enjoying their favorite pastimes, in costume, with
their pets,
as an angel or whatever they wish to be, will be your gift to them for a lifetime.
The artist needs only one hour with the subject.
You can also commission Lynn Matsuoka to attend holiday receptions, your wedding or retirement party, anniversary and birthday celebrations, where she will create beautiful "quick" portraits of your guests.
This award-winning artist is internationally
known for her depiction of Japan's ancient arts of Sumo and Kabuki,
as well as Hawaii's Hula Dancers. Her work is particularly appealing because
it effectively and emotionally
captures the essence of the subject matter in the stroke of a line and splashes
of bold color.
The typical timeframe for a portrait
is two to four weeks, depending on the category.
These prices are for artwork on 14" x 17" archival paper, medium is oil and
graphite.
Larger pieces will be an additional cost.
Oil painting portraits of your pet,
$1500 each subject. Best started as an in-person drawing,
but the artist can
work from a photo with good contrast, light and shadow.
The artist is available to cover your event and create a portfolio of quick reportage drawings of your guests or clients!
